Proud… My first interview in Romanian language and more…

Yesterday things were much better than the first day. More people, more interesting meetings, plus some nice surprises. At first, a meeting with one of the top Romanian businessmen in Real Estate, who knew almost EVERYTHING I have written here in this blog! (I can not deny that I like this when it happens, like anyone else who writes his thoughts does).
Couple of hours after, there was one of the most important moments in my life the last 4 years: I gave the first interview talking to someone in Romanian language! Honestly, I do not know how I did it, as I can not speak good Romanian (my colleagues kept correcting me), but I felt very nice in the end. The journalist was a very intelligent lady, working for the no. 1 newspaper addressing to the Romanians who live in Spain. We discussed about many things, not especially about business. Having in my blood the feeling of being immigrant (as my grandfathers and other relatives were in the past), I explained to her why I really understand very good the psychology of the Romanians living in Spain or anywhere abroad. The whole discussion was very emotioned, far away from a typical talk. She told me that she did not expect to hear these words about Romanians who live abroad by a Greek (and especially the Greek talking in Romanian). Next week I will upload the video with the interview, so as to share with you my pride (And I don’t care if the ones who know Romanian language will laugh for my poor Romanian, I am happy I managed to do it).
Excuse me for not being modest today, but the feeling of talking in public in a language that until now I considered as “too difficult to speak” made me feel really nice. Today at 17.00 I will also have a speech in the conference of Sima exhibition. But for this and many more we will talk tomorrow…
