Few days ago, on Tuesday, I had presented to you an interview of Mr Gavin Ryan, an expert in Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds. As far as I understood from your feedback, this subject was really interesting for you, as the official information about this segment is really limited. This is why I decided to address to Mr Ryan again, summing some of your questions and adding some new ones. This domain is really interesting and I think that it worths to know ...

With the Ambassador of Romania in Spain – what a surprise…
Yesterday I was telling you about 1 million Romanians living in Madrid. Well I was wrong and I need to apologize to all my thousands of readers. Yesterday I had the honour to welcome in our stand, the stand of MORE International Invest, her Excellency, the Ambassador of Romania in Spain, the Economic Counsellor of Romania and another gentleman from the embassy. They came together with a good friend of mine, Dan Cirstea, owner of the no. 1 advertising company specialized in Real Estate sector, United. Marketing and Partner.
During our brief discussion, I asked the Ambassador and she corrected me, telling me that the figures I mentioned (which I was told by 3 other different sources) are not correct. The real number for Madrid is around 200.000 Romanian people, which again is a lot, but not as impressive as the 1.000.000. To be honest with you, she was a big surprise for me. I know also the Ambassador of Romania in Greece, but I thought he was an exception. Now I see that Romanians seem to have a… “force” of young modern diplomats, well educated (and the most important) seriously interested in promoting their country. This advantage is really important for an ex communistic country, from which I would expect (and I guess that most of you have this impression too) to see old diplomats, with huge bellies, drinking tons of alcohol and saying jokes. Instead I see people who inspire their co-talkers, persons with vision and belief in the future of their country. I admire them a lot.
