Flying for Cannes…

Hello and have a wonderful week! Yesterday I returned from Greece back to Romania, so as to have the time to finish 6 (!) meetings (2 last night and 4 today) before I go to the airport in the afternoon and fly to Nice. From there Cannes is just half an hour drive and it is our final destination for this week. My company, MORE International Invest, will participate once more to the no. 1 Real Estate exhibition of the world, being one of the two Romanian agencies who do this.
The predictions speak for 20 – 40% less visitors than last year and I am really curious to see what will happen there. Except our company’s work, we will also present for the first time the cover of my upcoming book, “Romania through my eyes”, with the best posts of this blog in 2008. This year we chose to participate here with the biggest stand we ever reserved, having organized better than any other time (even our hotels are just at couple of minutes walk from the Palais de Expositions, when the first year we stayed… 70 km away!).
Some people see only darkness around them, some others predict the worst. I still believe that there are plenty of clients, interested in investing in Real Estate (in general) and in Romania (in specific). By the end of this week I will let you know if I was right or wrong. I don’t know why, but I am optimist…
