Few days ago, on Tuesday, I had presented to you an interview of Mr Gavin Ryan, an expert in Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds. As far as I understood from your feedback, this subject was really interesting for you, as the official information about this segment is really limited. This is why I decided to address to Mr Ryan again, summing some of your questions and adding some new ones. This domain is really interesting and I think that it worths to know ...

What a weekend!
Hello and have a nice week, everyone. I really made a big effort to upload this post, as I can barely press the buttons of my laptop… This Saturday I played basketball for the first time since… I don’t remember when (!) and every possible muscle of my body hurts. I guess that an old, rusty guy like me needs some time to recover, but I intend to start being more active now, that I have 15 kilos less (a friend of mine told me “what happened? Crisis made you lose weight because you don’t have money to eat anymore?”). I joined a team of Greek bankers, playing against Romanian bankers and it was really fun. Between you and me, unfortunately there are very few places inside Bucharest where people can go and play basketball or football, at least this is my impression. So, the school which hosted us was an excellent choice and reminded me how Greek schools were before European Union.
The weather was fantastic throughout the weekend! This is why thousands of families “escaped” to the country side, searching for a suitable place for picnic around Bucharest. I heard that Snagov was very crowded, but the same happened to Cernica and many other places which were suitable for the occasion. Let us not forget that Romanians have in their blood this nice habit, of going to the nature at any available opportunity… I personally walked around my new neighborhood (I live at Polona area now) and enjoyed a walk at Gradina Icoanei park, a beautiful park in the centre.
On Saturday I also had a small car accident, but for this I will tell you more tomorrow…
