[relevant-to-adsense]The ultimate solution for “safe” investments in the stock market…
I came across a very “interesting” study suggesting that well trained rats can do a good job as stock market traders! The study suggests that rats are trained to recognize patterns in historical stock and futures data and can generate trading signals often outperforming human traders! You can find more information in the following link: http://www.rattraders.com I think this study / website is obviously trying to ridicule the recent stock traders’ behavior but who knows… If they are true, let us hope that these rats will not become the future real estate brokers ![]()
Today in Vienna: My speech at the panel discussion for Romania
Hello from cloudy – soon to be raining, Vienna. I hope you are fine, wherever you are. Here in REAL VIENNA most people definitely don’t feel fine. Not a lot of visitors, not a lot of stands… I hope that this second day will be much better than the first one. Even if the number of people is very limited, I already had 4 excellent meetings yesterday, I could describe them very juicy. More and more people are open to hear, to discuss, to network and finally to collaborate. I had also a funny case, by a rude lady and a gentleman, who almost kicked me out from their company’s stand (using very [...]
[relevant-to-adsense]Economist Conference and my interview to National Television
Economist Conference: The best place to be, if interested in “high level” of PR… The only common thing that Intercontinental of Athens shares with Intercontinental of Bucharest is just the name. Unfortunately the Greek one can not be compared with the Romanian version and I felt it once more entering the halls for the conference. The problem is not the lack of luxury, I personally don’t care about it. But the difference at service, quality and food is VERY visible… I hope that the Romanian one will soon decide to upgrade its approach to clients, regaining its position as a meeting [...]
[relevant-to-adsense]Guten Tag aus Wien!
Hello from sunny Vienna! Last night I finished my meetings around 23.00, today I woke up at 04.15, changed two planes and arrived at Vienna around 10.30 (local time). The weather is wonderful here and now that you read these lines I am already inside REAL VIENNA, the number 1 Real Estate exhibition of Austria. Today I will have a full schedule of meetings with some of the top market leader of the country (and not only) and tomorrow I will be speaker in the panel for Romania, at 14.15. I was supposed to have a stand in this exhibition, as I had booked it. But few months ago, I decided to postpone [...]
[relevant-to-adsense]“Transit” stay in Athens… on the way to Vienna
Hello and have a nice week! Yesterday evening I flied from Thessaloniki to Athens, together with my brother Grigoris, deputy CEO of our company MORE Real Estate Services. Today we will attend probably the biggest event in the Balkans, the forum of Economist magazine, with the participation of the top Greek people (Prime Minister, Ministers, Leader of opposition party, major business groups owners, top businessmen etc) and most of the top politicians from the Balkan area. It is held in Intercontinental hotel, where we will be throughout the day. As we have changed our business strategy, [...]
[relevant-to-adsense]Romania 2009: Dangerous or safe destination for investments?
“Ei, ei… You… Mister… eeeeeeeei… with the beard… Youuuuu, with the yellow suit… Mister… Ei, you… Romanian guy”. These last two words made me turn my head and listen to the guy who was shouting behind me. I saw a gentleman running towards me, trying to bypass the hundreds of people who were coming out of the metro train. Syntagma station in Athens is the busiest of all and he was really struggling to catch up. I tried to move to his direction, but going against the crowd is more difficult, so I stopped and waited him. “Nice to meet you mister” “Nice to meet you too. What [...]

Few days ago, on Tuesday, I had presented to you an interview of Mr Gavin Ryan, an expert in Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds. As far as I understood from your feedback, this subject was really interesting for you, as the official information about this segment is really limited. This is why I decided to address to Mr Ryan again, summing some of your questions and adding some new ones. This domain is really interesting and I think that it worths to know ...

Back from Vienna, on the way to Cluj…
Buna – buna ziua to everyone. Last night I arrived from Vienna and went directly to the apartment of a friend of mine, Yannis, so as together with another two good friend of ours, Stavros and Dimitris, to watch the Champions League final. I was lucky enough to watch the last 25 minutes, watching my favorite Barcelona beating Manchester United. Tomorrow you will read what happened in Vienna, as I am still collecting my thoughts about these two days there. Today the day includes plenty of meetings and conference calls, including the preparations for my trip to Cluj tomorrow. I will be there on Friday [...]
