2 litters of water for a fainted stubborn Greek…
(Does anyone else need them too?)

A serious problem is never solved easily…
When I arrived in Bucharest, the pilot had already arranged for an ambulance to wait me. I was really surprised by the care of all the people there… The crew, the ones who work on the ground, the doctors and the others in the ambulance. All of them did their best, worried a lot, asked me all possible questions, forced me to accept all controls. After they got sure that I was not in danger and after they did all they had to, I was released to return back to my home with a colleague of mine, who came to pick me up from the airport. That evening I slept for endless hours, eating only very light food. The next day I was able to fly back home, to Greece.
All the following week was spent in laboratories and doctors, where I had almost all possible check ups and exams. 5 doctors with different specialties checked me and in total they prescribed me some… kilos of pills (and not only) daily. Even now, after so many days, I am still feeling "uncomfortable", as the problem was really serious and the food poisoning by milk, yoghourt etc is very toxic. But thank God all these people were there for me (not to mention my precious family) and I was saved…
In the same time, I wonder who will save all these guys who have entered into trouble with their properties… They don't accept anyone's help and usually when the problem reaches the worst possible level, they ask for help or try to trick others in a raw way (excusing themselves due to the difficulty of the situation). I am stubborn too, but in the end I realized that I was not able to fight my problem and I allowed to experts to help me. They don't want anyone to save them. They blame the ones "who woke up the stupids, who are more suspicious now" and the ones "who speak about lower prices, destroying our plans". They don't allow any expert to help them, because they don't consider that there is any expert, better than them…
Many people will need 2 litters of cold water… VERY soon
During 2009, I have met more than 200 people who "have money" (in the eyes of the others and for the media). Only one of them has 0 exposure to the banks and another 10 – 20 have their situation under control. About 20 – 30 more are able to refinance their debts, securing their future. So, count them 30 or 50, the important is that the rest 150 – 170 are not protected. The majority of these 150 have not even understood what their real problem is and they continue talking right and left, using the same approach they had during 2007 and 2008.
But the moment of choice is coming closer… They will have to choose between either the… "cold water" (of changing lifestyle, seriously reducing costs, selling properties in new prices, working more) and the risk of being bankrupted. Yes, I know that there are already plenty people in Romania who are called by the banks to bring money for their loans and they reply "I don't care, take your collateral and don't disturb me again". But unfortunately this tactic soon will not be enough for them to escape…
December is coming. Together with a very difficult period, the toughest Romania has faced since many years now. After the Presidential elections will be over, the truth will be said to the people. And then the stubborn ones will realize that "the cold water solution" will be their most positive scenario. Comparing to the other solutions they will have…
PS. I feel the need to thank from the bottom of my heart all the crew of TAROM, who did their best to help me on the plane. Except them, there were more passengers who worried about me, came to help, searched solutions, stayed more so as to check if I would need anything. The people of TAROM were very well trained and their equipment worked immediately, without problems or unnecessary surprises. The people on ground were super too..I also thank the doctor and her assistants in the ambulance (I was surprised that everything there was new and in very good condition). I was treated with such warmth, care and respect that I really felt very good and I will never forget them all. I wish I will be able to do something for every each one of them once in my life…
All these people were Romanians. Yes, except the bad ones, the crooks, all these guys who do their best daily so as to hurt this country's name (as they don't really care for their personal image), there are also endless serious people, with self respect, knowledge, great abilities and even greater future potential. I am glad they exist, happy to notice that they are a lot and they increase every day. I am very proud I meet them and I am much honored to be living in their country. Romania will have a great future eventually, thanks to all these millions of people.
