“Prima Casa” faces problems in Timisoara
Part 2
(to read part 1, please press here)

Why Romanians can be interested in Prima Casa?

Today we are ready to finish with the first part of the crisis and from September to enter in the second one, the more serious, deeper and more painful. The things in Timisoara were not so bad like Bucharest, but still the problem is serious there too. Meanwhile, in this period, there are many people who want to buy a new apartment, taking advantage of Prima Casa programme (I am talking specifically for them because they are a special category in the market and apparently they look like “new targets” for everyone, serious or not). Why?
– Because all Romanians (like Greeks and not only) like to have their own property.
– So as to upgrade their quality of life.

– So as to be able to invest to a place and transform it to exactly what they need.

– So as to cover their new housing needs (in case of a family with children).
– So as instead of paying rent, to have the same cost but for their own home.
– Today very few people have in mind the part of investment, when they search for their first home.
– And for plenty of more reasons, to which we will return soon.
Anyone desperate to buy? Not anymore…
Did you read any reason like: “So as to make someone rich”? Or something like “So as to give new taste to their life, adding problems and high costs of monthly payments”?
This programme address to Romanians (anyway the foreigners are not interested in apartments in Romania, at least 90% of them). There is noone today willing to pay more money than the price he can really afford. No promise for the future can work. People are cautious and very careful with their moves (at least this is what I see and I hope it stands for all cases).
So, why someone to buy the apartment which has much higher price than few weeks ago? Is he in a hurry, like in the past? Will he feel desperate that there is nothing else to buy and he will accept to be blackmailed like this? Noone will take his place, the residential market is more quiet than an empty room.
Is there anyone who wants to pay an installment which is double – triple than the rent for the same apartment today?
Last but not least, is there anyone who will risk his future with an expensive apartment, when he can barely organize his financial data, so as to be eligible for a loan?
Change mind or wait to be forced to change mind…

I hope that this funny mentality (“I have to take from your pocket anything that is possible to get, either I have the right or not”) will not return. Ok, we can not change a society so easily and fast, but I am afraid that if all these people will not change mind, then in the near future the reality will force them to change, with worse conditions for them.
Prima's Casa main danger is the greed…

I heard an interesting rumor about this program. The rumor is that this program is in use for the benefit of the developers and the banks that financed those residential complexes, and that this fixed price of 60 000 euros is because some of this new developments were already enforced, and the enforcement was made in silence. That is the main and real target of “Prima Casa`s” program. What do you think about this.
