The Greek government lost its majority in the parliament:

· Mrs. Eva Kaili became independent today
· Mrs. Vaso Papandreou declared that she will not vote for the government and proposes a new government with all political parties involved
· Mrs. Soula Merentiti withdrew her confidence in the government

An urgent summit of the ministers’ council is taking place right now, while th eminister of health, Mr. Andreas Loverdos announced that he is standing by Mr. Vagelis Venizelos’ (minister of economy) statement that “the future of Greece in the Euro Zone is not negotiable and will not be put at risk”.
Mr. Dimitris Lingeris withdrew his confidence in the government and made the toughest comment: “Mr. Papandreou belongs to history”
Later on, there will be a special summit of the members of the Parliament that belong to the socialist party, where “Mr. Papandreou’s final battle” will, probably, be held.
