Either late in the night, when I finish work, or early in the morning, when I wake up, I always download the news from the top greek television. Sometimes I listen to them like a radio, as I am moving around my apartment, or I work on something. This was also the case the previous days. The first part of my vacation is over. Yes, Thasos island is simply F A N T A S T I C and if any of you wants some special hints and places where he / she can feel closer to paradise, let me know, I refreshed my memory the previous days and also discovered many new spots, especially the tremendous resort Makryammos (http://makryammos-hotel.gr/), which has almost anything you ever dreamed for your vacation! Vacation – Books and “I became Romanian”… “You became Romanian” my mother commented after me complaining for the situation in several aspects of Greece. All the family is together, today I leave for the first part of my vacation, but I still see around me and I get very upset. Many times I complain for the problems and the stupidities I see in Romania, but I always find this country as an example of progress, as a place where things move fast and they improve much more than even the native residents can realize.
